So do you think the reporting services have some responsibilty to check out a PR that has company re-instating earnings, CEO resigning, and a SEC investigation?

Briefing.com apologized but blamed the wire service. Since the Hoax contained three highly unusual kisses of death for any company, I would have figured someone who have called he company before releasing it.

CBSMarketwatch just pulled the original article after it was a hoax.
