flapjack, what exactly do you find so appalling about that article? It looks like nothing more then a few innuendo's sprinkled in with some condescending language. Pretty typical of the way the N.Y Times treats any Republican if you ask me. Remember, they are part of the major media which voted nearly 90% for Clinton.

I would rather have a CEO who may have performed fairly in a few short years in the business world, then a political animal such as Gore and Lieberman who have had virtually nothing to do with running a business their entire life.

I wonder how the N.Y. Times would assess their own CEO's performance for the last decade?

It never ceases to amaze me the depth and degree major media will go to in order to run down any Republican politician, and how they turn a blind eye toward virtually every Democratics shady business dealings.

I suppose that same writer believes Hillary Clinton really did turn 1K into 100K from her incredible ability to trade cattle futures? And I suppose they actually believe the Clinton land deals and borrowing from Madison Guarantee was on the up-and-up. Not to mention all the shady deals which surround Al Gore and his families zinc mines.

The biased reporting is obvious to anyone willing to look at the flavor and tenor of the N.Y Times objectively. They are nothing more than a spin machine run from the Democratic party.
