Ninth Street and Mission?. Well, who can account for taste? eeyup. you were on the wrong side of the tracks. who says the french have taste? been a while since i was there...but you could have gone one block north on 9th (i think it was one way south to north) and crossed market street. the neighborhood would have improved...better yet, turn right on market...then straight to the end...turn left on the ebarcadero...in about 2-3 miles, nice hotels pop up on the left....rstaurants, shopping and family fun there too....this area is called fisherman's wharf. uw@missiondistrictsareonlyquaintinsoutherncalifornia.com
