I am glad that you are so easily amused..... <g> As for a "zero track record", I have been posting for almost eleven years now, and at this point I can hardly keep up with the PM. I did a little test a few months ago PM'ing many of the people who asked me questions in the past, and approximately 80% of them said they still read my work. I did this test because I was considering no longer posting here and on Prodigy, but the response was better than I expected so I decided to stay. As for becoming a "guru", no thanks, as I have no desire to end up like Robert Prechter did in the late 1980's when he had media satellite trucks parked outside of his home bugging him constantly. That is not for me, no matter how good I may or may not get. This is just a hobby for me, and it has created some long term friendships as well. There is no need to attempt to ridicule me in any way shape or form, because I've "been there and done that", fighting many bulletin board "flame wars" in the past and winning my share of the battles..... In most cases it's just a waste of time. As for me labeling Cisco "only" a 700 pound gorilla now, well, please forgive me for being so overwhelmingly bearish! (not) It's just that much of Cisco's future growth is already factored into it's price -- so unless they come up with something earth shattering, they are "only" a 700 pound gorilla to me these days..... And one more thing, as I age, you can expect my "mistake rate" to go up a bit which is only natural, so ignore me if you wish. No skin off my nose. Take care. Aging Yogi |
