Do you think now that we are less able, or willing, to deal with the passage of loved ones?

Yes, I do believe that is true.... I think that many people are uncomfortable...even to "be" with someone when they cross over...

I was just thinking about this last night for some reason... I think of it occasionally these days because I was with my Dad when he crossed over last year... I won't get into this here, but I had a discussion with a friend who is a nurse... She was telling me about how "rare" it is getting to be...for people to be with family or friends when they cross over.... She works in a place where they regularly have to call family to ask them if they can come down to be with their loved ones when it looks like their time here is growing short. She says that many of them react in anger... say they are busy and they will come when they can....some similar excuse. She doesn't believe that the "busy" thing is the real reason that they don't come... more like they are uncomfortable with death and don't want to "be there". Having been with my Dad and others and many of my animals here at the farm over the years, I can't think of NOT being there... Seems weird.... selfish.... but then that's JMHO....
