KIRKLAND -- Allen-backed Digeo leases new building Digeo Broadband Inc., a company backed by Microsoft cofounder Paul Allen, has signed a lease to occupy all 50,000 square feet of Forbes Lake Corporate Center, according to several local real estate sources.
A spokeswoman for Digeo had no comment yesterday about the lease.
Digeo, now located in Kirkland's Totem Lake area, was founded in 1999 and is involved in helping cable companies expand options for entertainment, information and commerce by merging the services of television and PCs. The company is owned by Vulcan Ventures, Charter Communications and Go2Net, all companies in which Allen has an ownership stake.
Forbes Lake Corporate Center, now under construction at 8815 122nd Ave. N.E. in Kirkland, is expected to be ready for Digeo in December.
Brokers Steve Balkman, Eric Postle and Richard Peterson of Puget Sound Properties represented the building's developers, Taylor Development and Anastasio Development, while Leo Backer, with Leibsohn & Co., represented Digeo. |
