Disclosure regarding "Morgan Fund":
Well, as this issue has come up again I think I should report of my experiences. A few weeks ago, earlier this month, I logged onto the website "morganfund.com" and wanted to find out more about it and the prospects {I like to do research and get the best investment opportunities and there get info being sent to me a lot of times} and have therefore requested information to be sent, typing in my name, adress and phone number.
Then I was called a Monday morning by a certain person with a british accent, representing the Fund. He informed me that it was a conservative Fund, no Hedge Fund {like a mutual Fund}, being started this year and with about 30 % gain. I was especially curious about the Fund as I have seen the name of Larry Katz with West America, with whom I have been and I have in the past spoken to Mr. Katz and also listened to interviews with him, like marketmavens.com. It was interesting to realize that the other manager ia Mr. Bryant Cragun, who was/is with the Capital Group (earlier Amber; the firm that did not sell my DDD share when I ordered them in the beginning of December (note that I have bought NO registered S stock). The person recognized my accent too (he has been in my country of birth) and told me that he would fax me some info the same day and will sent out a prospectus soon.
Then suddenly the Wednesdaymorning I was called unexpec- tedly again by him, informing me that my name appeared in the Wall Street Journal. This was the first time I have heard of it, otherwise it would probably have gone unnoticed. He asked me all sort of personal questions, whether I knew the two WSJ journalists etc. and asked me if I was only trying to get information or really interested in investing (well both I presume, because I cannot invest before receiving some information; this should be only too logical, all the more so in my case with very unfortunate experiences with offshore firms). Later that day, I posted something OT (Off topic) and ONLY adressed to the poster "Onewhoknows", therefore NOT adressed to all. In this post I have mentioned my experience very shortly without revealing any names (discretion). Then later the afternoon that same day I was called yet again by this same person; he sounded very upset and asked me if I have posted under the nick "speculor" on Ragingbull!!!!! He told me in no uncertain terms he would not send my any information if I want to reveal this to newspaper journalists or post this on the internet..etc. and then he simply hung up without even saying goodby. Now really this is not only not the best of british manners I have seen.... , but also a TOTAL intrusion of the decretionary and privacy swiss LAWS and cannot go uncommented. I have actually been totally shocked at been called and asked such stupid little questions; it looks to me they have nothing better to spent their time with. Well, nowthey have my phone number and can (and will?) probably harrass me psychiologically again. Through this whole experience I am looking at the Morgan Fund with a great degree of suspicion (where I was neutral at the beginning and only wanted some investor information). One should really have thought that if I were to disclose this info online (something which I would definitely NOT necessarily have done), this would have meant some positive marketing for them, that is if some people have nothing to hide. But now it seems to me there is something to be hide; it is not transparant. It also seems to me to be not so regulated as with the problem with Hedge Funds (see 1998).
Another thing; later that day I have spoekn to Larry Katz, asking him some info on the Fund in a friendly trustful manner. He immediately told me that this Fund has nothing to do with West America Securities and also that West America has nothing to do with Oxford International etc. etc. the funds are simply been transferred to them (swiftrade.com). He did disclose some of the stocks he is investing in (nice of him; all quality stocks from what I gather) and I also discussed some strategies, like whether he uses options, is shorting stocks etc. He informed me that he has seen my name in the WSJ too. When I told him that I have seen that the domain adress of the Morgan Fund has been registered with West America he told he this should immediately be taken again. Thus Anthony - if you are reading this - it looks to me as if you have some work to do and see to it that the domain name of The Morgan Fund not be registered under West America any more .... rather than wasting your time calling interested investors such as myself asking all sort of questions that is of NO interest to the Fund you are claiming to represent. I am looking forward to see a new domain name soon.....wonder which name that is going to be... perhaps givecragunthefinger.com LOL but that has already been taken... Anthony, you can tell your boss Mr. Cragun that because he and Lynn Briggs has NOT returned my urgent phone calls and faxes of December last year AND that because they have NOT seen to it that my DDD shares are being sold when I ordered my advisor with the Capital Group (to not carry out a clients wished to sell, is TOTAL FRAUD I have been suffering finanically and psychiologically a lot of the fact that I could not sell the stock at the gain when I instructed to do that) with cost them a lot.... I have even threatened with legal action last year, but even that has had no influence. Now the real show time has only begun .....they could however repair some of the damage if they would fund me the difference, that is the gain of USD 5000 I should have been (which would have been much more now with my investments), otherwise it is really the beginning of the end of the titanic.... Mark my words....
Sorry for this long post, just thought I should share these extraordinary experiences.
