Greg (s), Don't forget that CSCO is working with BRCD to interface BRCD FC switches with CSCO routers. Thus CSCO would be a bridge between FC networks.

Also, the VI interface is said to be "media agnostic", meaning it will work with ethernet as well. We will have to keep digging to understand more about that.

There is a lot more happening that we know about, wrt CSCO.
