It's also the case that you learn to concentrate your energy as you grow older. Save the worry and decision making process for big decisions, something where the outcome really matters to your life. Let the small unimportant stuff go on auto pilot :) Habit is actually very useful to human beings because it keeps them from being paralyzed by by an overload of complex decision making processes. The human brain is a slow electro- chemical processor better suited to using stored behavior and response patterns than making constant rapid analytical calculations. Ray Kurzweil discusses this in his book "The Age of Spiritual Machines"., a sort of gee whiz look at the future by a computer innovator. It's probably worth reading, or better yet get the tape because it's an easy listen.
