a few thoughts on the weekend news.

biz.yahoo.com

The TV stations should be required to pay the going $'s per Hz that everyone is paying now if they are going to get into the internet biz. Why do they get an unfair advantage over the rest of the companies and get there spectrum for free? They renew their lic every couple of years, so why not make them pay up at that time?

Are we getting taxed on the internet in major indirect ways? I agree with Ramsey.

Second,

INTC drops out of the CDMA chip mkt. Q only goes up a little. How come when their only real competitor drops out of the mkt that nobody thinks that Q will perform better? The other 3 lic have no real customer base or real sales in CDMA. I am surprised that Q is not up 15-20% today. Spinco is like 33% of Q's EPS and 50% of the revenue. Is everyone either asleep or pissed off at Q?

third,

Does anyone have teh date of record yet for spinco shares to be recorded on people holding Q shares?
