Sig, fantastic article, very good primer on what has happened and what is going to happen in the optical sector. The area I find the most interesting and hopefully the most lucrative was pretty much summed up in the following taken from the article << Ciena's Smith says, "The issue now is moving to being: How do you put more intelligence on those bigger pipes? The next breakthrough is really providing intelligence on the network, and that's replacing a lot of these voice switches with optical switches.
