On re-reading their latest report, I see that they have problems with general lighting in general - North America as well as Europe. The new president of SLI Lighting, Crossland, is apparently a turnaround specialist. It will depend on how good he is. He brought his hatchet and they've already absorbed some restructuring charges this quarter. This reminds me a lot of CPCL (Buckland is a "turnaround guy" too), so after my experience with that I'm not compelled to buy, even though risk/reward looks good at this price. They've been collecting quite a few analyst downgrades recently; perhaps this round of downgrades has put in the low? There have been several large block trades over the last few days, and it's up slightly. WT
