Yeah- but isn't Gaugs saying the same thing that we were saying about FS's insensitivity to people who are in pain? Remember the poor woman who'd lost her job? She called all upset and he told her he didn't "buy into" her anger and blame, thus diminishing her feelings to NOTHING after making her feel guilty about them. I told her that 7 months of severence was actually a blessing and I told her she should stop cold the negative thoughts/feelings for they would just separate her from her internal energy source which we all need to live happy lives and be productive to serve others. In other words, watch a sunrise. ANd if I'd been that woman, I'd have moved the boss down on the hate list and put FS at the top. I've only been seriously depressed once in my life and I didn't have the energy to complain about it. I figure if people are actively talking about it, they must still have some energy left. Maybe telling someone to watch the sunrise is a GOOD thing! It's bound to turn their depression into anger which is at least not passive.
