I see! Yaacov, I have no position, whatsoever, in Intel. My posts on this thread may sound like I am against Intel. This is not true at all. Intel has been a tremendous competitor, but I can see signs from big PC makers show signs of dislike against Intel's monopoly. Compaq, Dell, Gateway, IBM, Packard Bell et al. would definitely like to be able to buy chips from others if offered similar functionality. That is perhaps the reason for recent experiments with Cyrix and AMD.

Personally, as a consumer, I would like to see the microprocessor becoming a commodity with Intel, AMD, Cyrix, and half a dozen others trying to battle it out for our hearts and minds. Wishful thinking? Who knows.

Since I have no stake in Intel's steak, I am willing to wish all longs a very happy trading. Goooooooooooo Intel.

Rajesh Agarwal.
