Darrell,
Hi!!

Excellent post and well worth remembering...When I chatted with Robert Williams of IR this past Spring we discussed this "rate" of his shares decreasing...Owning what he owns we'd have to see something like another 10-14 years before he'd be considered just a large shareholder... :o)

Here is something a friend of mine sent me awhile back...He has a vision for DELL's expansion that boggles even my mind... :o) He believes that since most of these are relatively new alliances, partnerships, ventures, etc...Given time the world wide perception will be that DELL is anything but a "boxmaker"...IMO he has a valid point here...Just within the past year DELL has added many new possible revenue growth opportunities...Given time is the key word here...I'm being patient...MSD is a relatively young man and I don't believe anyone should be betting against his company and the team he has assembled...A few quarters of "stagnant growth" :o) :o) :o) and people abandon in their minds what he has accomplished? He still wakes every day willing to conquer more...I wanna be there for the viewing as a long term shareholder...IMO the Andy Grove often quoted prediction concerning servers is his next goal...If AGrove's anywhere near right on this: "Currently there are between 4 and 5% of the servers required to run the internet by 2004 and all of these are obsolete" IS true...DELL's model will conquer this market like all the others they have entered then I don't want to miss this opportunity...And, this is just on the hardware side of what my friend is predicting...
