Hardware has gotten ahead of software like at no other time in history. >> I agree that hardware is far ahead of software (making now one of the best times to buy a pc), however, I think the company with the mhz advantage will be do much better earnings wise, and probably on wallstreet. Either way, the p4 is crucial for intel (i don't think anyone here denies this), and if it's good it could lay the smack down on AMD. (I think quite a few people here have their heads in the sand assuming that it's going to be bad) I'll say this much whether the p3 1.13 works or not will be irrelevent the day the 1.4 p4 ships unless there is a HUGE problem with it (quite unlikely in my mind).
