Mani, as I posted in the original link to that article, that "couple of months" sounds optimistic at best. On the other hand, maybe Intel will hire a bunch of teeny tiny guys with teeny tiny soldering irons to attach teeny tiny trace wires to the affected circuits, and actually "repair" them, as in the quick zdnet blurb:

Intel Corp. (Nasdaq: INTC) is recalling its 1.13MHz Pentium III processor in order to fix a problem that could cause certain applications to freeze.
