Look at what the Japanese paid for a lot of US real estate in the 1980's - same story, new names.

But apart from a handful of high flyers out of control, the overall market is firming up with more reasonable valuations than we saw earlier this year. Could be in for a gradual move up the next couple of months if no major outside news intervenes.
