yes, Indeed, Intel may have a long term problem that needs a new stepping. Next year for the 1.13 if that is needed as others have pointed out.
Whatever happens heads are rolling at Intel as we speak. They have had heads rolling so often this past year that they should open a bowling alley.
And then there is Dell:

Well, those Intel 1.13 gig pigs seem to have used their wings and flown the coop. New steppings will take so long to finish and test that the Dellrus will have nothing above 1 gig for the christmas season, unless they implement plan B and cross circuit to AMD!!
