Pravin,

Re: Damn right I'm pissed.

Amen!

How long can this charade go on?

IMHO, Wall Street is about profits and greed. Right now Intel can indemnify its shareholders from loss no matter what happens with/to their production and operational profits. Not a bad deal really, so long as it lasts. But it can't last unless Intel can once again behave like the Intel of old! Willy delays, 1.13 GHz delays, name me one major Intel product in which AMD and Intel compete for in the marketplace in which AMD has not broadly exceeded Intel in the last year! Think back over the last year at all Intel's failures, it's amazing! Something's wrong at Intel (tm-CrazyMan).

That being said, the inevidable markshare increase and profits beyond our wildest dream are in store for AMD (so long as AMD doesn't start performing like their competitor). Just look at today's Intel news pertaining to 1.13 GHz foul up.

As to why Wall Street investors and ANALysts have such trouble looking just a little bit towards the future, I have no answer. However the future is day by day turning into the present and Wall Street investors and ANALysts will be forced to recon with AMD as the "Producer of the CPU of Choice" in terms of stability, performance and availability. The world processor market is no small thing and greed will drive investors in droves seeking to "buy this new discovery"!

The investment community has its collective head stuck in the sand.

Yes! (Or somewhere else).

Kindest regards,
CrazyMan
