As you can tell, I don't like to fool around too much. Some time, things have to be orderly. And using many of the indices for technical analysis, trying to fit the curve; the prophesy can be self fulfilling. When you jump into the fray and execute some orders and all of a sudden you change the variables and the prophesy becomes non-existent.

So why not go with the flow and chase market makers. Next market order is predictable, if it is within the offer of shares and price. If you don't upset the apple cart, market maker will just print the offers again and again. Level2 data is so much more predictable than microTA(intraday technical analysis), which I practice. None of any moving day average can be used.

In the end, unless the market maker has large position himself, it is a day to day analysis. If we should be so lucky to buy GE or IBM where the specialist has full control of cash and stock pools; charts are so beautiful; do we still have to worry?

Have fun, Yogi. Thanks. Making money is easy, if you get on some one's coat tail and they don't even know it. AMES, that is another story for another day. Candle sticks don't offer me anything here at AMES, wicks maybe.
