I don't think it is a bug that can be fixed. Intel is clearly overclocking chips beyond their capabilities. It will generally lead to problems.

What's really bad is that Intel is passing these chips to the public as genuine chips, rated as say 1,133 MHz, rather than 866 or 933 MHz overclocked to 1,133 MHz, as the vendors that sell overclocked parts clearly state.
