Richard, I clicked on one of my [ignore] posts, and found this gem: mishedlo... Now comes Scumbria to to show us the right path to follow when we come to that fork in the road! There often seems a way that is right but Scumbria says, "Nay, nay." What marbles. LMAO!!! Does he love himself or what? Scumbia said, "I wrote a fairly detailed explanation the other day about the serious flaws in the writer's logic. Basically, the author of the article knows almost nothing about DRAM, or memory controllers." Which memory controller policy would you consider best?: 1. Always precharge. 2. Precharge after write. 3. Keep all banks active. The author of the article chose #1. Maybe you could argue the pros and cons of his choice. TIA, Scumbria
