Problem is DT is still owned by the German state to quite an amount...and the state is selling shares from time to time. Besides that, the costly VSTR stock deal puts a lid on the stock price.

I followed the German n-tv and many "analysts" talked up the stock when it was at around E59 in May and then end of June, but it lost E15 since on heavy volume. Also note the increased volume on the NYSE. Technically weak and not ready yet.

There are even worse setups, like profitable Mobilkom which is quite indebted after the UMTS deal (8B equity, but around 16B bank loans to finance the 18B UMTS license). ...
