Hi richard surckla; You guys are really stretching tonight. I wonder why. (G)

I almost never put whole articles on a thread. Articles are covered by copyright, and we're not supposed to be haphazardly reproducing them here. If you want to read the whole thing, or post the whole thing here, go ahead.

But the article had quite a bit of new meat in it. It included Samsung announcing that they were disappointed with Intel's comments on Rambus, and cancelled their "upside" Rambus lines, but that they were not in a situation of suffering from an oversupply of RDRAM because of their careful planning. Also, this was the first time that I have heard Rambus call the trade publications unfair and biased. That is more than enough to make the article of interest to all, and I doubt that there were very many people who failed to read the article at length. For reference:

P.S. It's great to see RDRAM generating tons of news again. I think the recent crap was mostly caused by lack of enough news to talk about. And where is Dave B? I'm wondering what his take on all this is.
