zack, a/d stuff on nas hasn't been useful as an indicator, but it seems that it would be difficult to fool the public this soon, as probably less than 10% of the 500 new highs in march were companies with real earnings and prospects within a reasonable beta of most nyse blue chips.

but we must remember the naz strongly weighted by about 10 or 20 stocks, thats why msft had such an impact off the march top.
