And where is Dave B? I'm wondering what his take on all this is. Right here, trying to figure out if I still really want to participate in this thread (though it's been a tiny bit better this last 24 hours). In the end, nothing we say or do will change the stock price. I'll continue to buy and sell RMBS regardless. As for the Micron news, interesting play on their part. I suspect they wanted to get a lawsuit going before Rambus had the weight of too many players signed up to fight. Gutsy call, though, since if they lose (yes, years from now, possibly), Rambus has said they won't license the patented technology to them. Could put a world of hurt on them in that case. Maybe a play to make toughen up the negotiations? Possibly, but I don't know how that would work -- I'd like a lawyers opinion on that. Certainly the story continues to get more and more interesting.
