Thanks for the OT call back, will look see this weekend

You are a RAREBIRD, for that approach. No offense, but shorting without some toppy chart or possible breakdown has proven calamitous to me in the past year and half. the margin drawdwon is too great.
However, EVERY Short has proven correct in due time for me, it just takes too much $ to lose unless you are right on.
For example, the Optic sector presenst the classic overvaluation model right, now, but the timing is "of the essence".
Similarly Internets, B2Bs had previously been the groups (and now bottoming). I played this sector with one or two successes per each loss.
CMTN doesn't fit this profile, nor DSL but it is a favorite short sector this qtr. I figure the shorts run for cover year-end and all next year. Until then CMTN needs to find the base bottom, which I feel is around 50 +- a few. I will be a buyer then.
Also, we have an overbought market, due to pullback. Pullbacks have been very eventful lately, and worth stepping aside from. But, it hasn't had that intraday reversal yet...close, though. I'll get my puts soon enough and quit on my longs as well. Maybe check out a short or three |
