Company's Power Management Components for Wireless Communications Meet

World-Class Standards for Quality Assurance

Signal Technology Corporation ("Signal") (Nasdaq:STCO), a leading provider of electronics products for wireless communications and power management products in the commercial, defense and space markets, today announced that its Keltec Division in Fort Walton Beach, Florida has been awarded a follow-on production contract for ALQ-131 high voltage power supplies from the U.S. Government. The U.S. Government's ALQ-131 is an electronic counter-measure, pod mount system that is configured for multiple military aircraft platforms such as the F-15, F-16, and C-130 Gunship. The contract contains annual options which, when exercised, will bring the total award to over $2 million.

"We are encouraged by the contracts our division has won over the past few months and with this award, another milestone in our long-range production plan for the Florida facility has been attained," said Keltec President John Cotumaccio.
