When this UMTS thing will start being built we are going to need more and more small-radius cells. We'll have to space sites not 5Km apart but perhaps 750m apart. NIMBY (Not in My BackYard) will not allow that.

So operators will have to co-located the BTS Base Terminal Stations to existing facilities. If you go upfront and buy the premium sites, you would them make a killing leasing them out to those guys on thier knees to cover a stretch of shadowed area.

Wireless is like real estate location location location.
