Harry, Going to war in Bosnia isn't my idea of major initiative. The great heroes Bush and Powell decided that intervention in Sarajevo was too risky (50,000 American lives would be lost they said), and chose instead to do nothing and let the former Olympic hosts be tortured out of existence. Draft dodger Bill Clinton came along, and helped clean the problem up with zero American deaths. But this is certainly not an accomplishment. I also doubt the people of Haiti care about gaining their freedom either, once again against the better judgement of Bush and Powell and the entire Republican party. The good thing about Bush and Powell, is that applied their timidity equally towards both black and white nations under siege. Scumbria
