I'd like to see more of this sort of endorsement at G*USA:

The Communications 'Pipeline' -
WESTCOAST ENERGY

Westcoast Energy Inc. recently became a Globalstar customer. A leader in the
North American energy industry, Westcoast Energy operates a $12-billion
network of natural gas gathering, processing, transportation, storage and
distribution assets.

"Timing is everything in the oil and gas industry, so it is crucial that our pipeline
delivers on time without any delays," said Errol Bachelor, Team Leader of
Operations, West Coast Energy Ltd. "Globalstar's satellite handset enables our
field workers to alert us at a moments' notice of any potential interruptions."

West Coast Energy has regularly scheduled investigative maintenance digs on
our 30" and 36" pipelines in very remote mountainous were historically there
has been no reliable communication. "We have come to appreciate the
Globalstar satellite phone to be an indispensable tool of choice by our field crew
supervisor." Workers can communicate with their home base relevant to status
reports and ordering material and supplies. More importantly, Errol values the
safety feature of having on site the critically required communication in the
event of a medical emergency.

A recent incident that West Coast Energy was involved in highlights the tool as
a solution of choice in remote areas during an emergency. "A neighbouring oil
pipeline operator recently experienced pipeline failure in the mountainous terrain
of British Columbia," said Errol. "During the emergency, as a "good neighbour
gesture", we loaned them one of our Globalstar satellite phone units during their
initial emergency response as they were struggling with communication. As a
result and at their request, we purchased two units for them which they are
currently utilizing to facilitate the task of repairing their pipeline."

"Keeping our employees safe in the field is our number one priority and having
Globalstar on hand in remote areas provides us with an extra sense of
security," added Errol. "We have used other satellite communications tools and
two-way radio, however, none can compare to the quality, reliability and
convenience of the Globalstar satellite phone."

West Coast Energy's "big-inch" pipelines run from northeast British Columbia to
the Canada-United States border and brings a supply of natural gas from the
Western Canadian sedimentary basin to emerging markets in British Columbia
and the United States Pacific Northwest.

"With operations in remote areas of Canada where the climate is unpredictable,
a reliable line of communications with head office or health and safety officials
is absolutely vital," says Errol, commenting on Globalstar's ability to withstand
extreme weather conditions. "I'm certain the oil and gas industry will be a
growing market for Globalstar as more and more people recognize the value of
reliable, handheld, satellite communications."

Wilderness Adventure Company Relies
on Globalstar

In order to ensure safety and as a precaution in
case of any accidents, the Wilderness Adventure
Company has purchased 5 Globalstar satellite
phones from Glentel for arctic trips. These
hand-held, state-of-the-art phones use satellites to
beam our messages to the correct authorities in the
event of any medical or serious emergency. Guides
Wendy Grater and Tim Gfeller tested a demo model
on the Nahanni River this June and were totally
impressed.
