Network Engines and Sayers Group Form Alliance to Target
Fortune 1000 Customers


CANTON, Mass.--(BUSINESS WIRE)--Aug. 29, 2000--Network Engines, Inc.
(Nasdaq:NENG), a leading provider of scalable Internet appliances, today
announced that Sayers Group has signed an agreement to distribute Network
Engines products to its base of Fortune 1000 customers. Sayers Group is a
technology solutions provider and systems integrator headquartered near
Chicago, with offices across the United States.

"We view the server appliance market as a huge opportunity for Sayers," said
Jack McGloin, a Vice President / General Manager, of Sayers. "Adding Network
Engines' server appliances to our product portfolio will enable us to be more
responsive to customer needs and will reduce integration time for Web-based
