Voltaire, Do you think it's possible they're (MU) bringing this to the table hoping for a settlement w/ a somewhat better royalty rate than if they'd waited to be sued? Possibly, but I suspect GVTucker is right in that it's more about egos. Don't forget that supposedly Tate and Appleton (?) almost came to blows a little over a year ago at a party they both attended.
