Thanks mr. mark-I have been in the habit of defragging with my AV disabled but was unaware that it is recommended that only explorer and systray apps run during defrag.
Is it possible that with only these two running,defrag time could be faster to complete.

As an after thought: is anyone here using Screen Saver Control {lol-there is a very good chance that I picked up the program on this thread}
