Interesting tidbit from CNBC yesterday which I have not seen mentioned on thread yet. One fo the female hosts was interviewing VP from MSFT responsible for their e-book software area about the product and MSFT's agreement with Amazon. The VP had just finished explaining the capabilities of the software while holding up a PocketPC and the host says something like "so then you can read the book on your PALM." To the VP's credit he did not blink. He smoothly reminded her he was holding a PocketPC. I think the incident demonstrates how to the average person (and most of these CNBC hosts are no more sophisticated than that) PALM and handhelds are synonymous.
