Remember those MOT brick phones for $699 a piece? Remember when monthly subs start at $49.95 for two mid night minutes?

Many of us here may want all you can eat high speed wireless internet at any cost. However, we can easily be sucked into G*'s dilemna. Should the carriers sacrifice to reach critical mass or try to be profitable immediately?

A side note. Not all countries are going the auction route. Totalitarian governments such as China may avoid this cost. countries like Korea may provide their carriers with cheaper spectrums than the "market" rate. It is going to make data roaming agreements a nightmare???
