<watch out that your children don't get too fat...or big brother will take them away:>

Chicago's "DCSF" is notorious... "Dept. of Child serices"-what a joke. As if the government has a clue about what to do in these cases. If a child is given back and gets harmed or worse, they take it upon themselves to say 'never again', and of course you know what that means. Baby 'T' is a famous case who went into foster care and ended up with a local judge [one of the lucky ones... the system seems to think that foster care is some great thing, NOT!] who now wants to adopt. The child is 4 and the mother has been clean for 3 1/2 years [child taken due to Cocaine in blood, manditory test in Illinios] but can't get the child back, probably forever now. The experts all talk about 'bonding' etc. which of course makes perfect sense, but with the court system every child would bond with a new mother. .... what a mess.

The childs own [appointed by state] lawyer recommended return to the mother for years untill he finally gave up and changed his mind... supposedly because the mother went to the press and the black community in a 'crusade' to get her child back at which point the childs lawyer concluded that she wasn't showing the proper remorse and 'mothering lifestyle'-

Enough to turn a good liberal democrat into a dye hard republican -ng-
