I think @Home's main competitor will come from the Tele Company. i.e ISDN and ASDL (in the near future). Since telephone is more popular than cabel and the Tele Company has a better image than the cable company (Let's say Pac Bell vs TCI). But @Home offers lower monthly fee and better speed. I think @Work will play a major rule in @Home's success. @Work suppose to provide high speed internet access for corporate customer like IBM, HP. In any case, @Home will be a hot IPO (much like Netscape when they went to IPO two years ago.) Watch out AOL!!! People now has a option for no-interrupt, high speed internet access! No more busy tone!
