you gk'ers can skip over this... this is shiny pebble stuff. i like to think about the next big thing. i am convinced they are interactive tv and voip. about 2 weeks or so ago, i mentioned that i met a cable tv guy in my neighborhood. he told me that 2-way interactive cable installation was just completed in the field and that set top boxes would begin delivery within weeks. i said then that i was not comfortable playing gmst alone in this space and i would buy a basket to compliment gmst...and i did. optv, iatv, lbrt and tivo. i sold 1/2 of my gmst at 100% profit to do it. tax free account of course. yes, 100% profit...i posted my buy oct 4 or 5 last year on the main thread (pre-split). this morning i read this... dailynews.yahoo.com i said to myself....self this itv thing is here...T ain't gonna wait for the gorilla...they are going to deliver itv with whoever is ready...check the 4 stocks above. folks... itv arrived in the market today! imho, this monster has just begun to roll. while i am at it....IDBE is a little known medical stock that has several products in phase one testing...concentrates on vaccines....but! they have a product called CPT. it got my attention because the army abbrev for captain is cpt. back to the subject...if you know about vaccines, you know the tuff part is getting into phase 1...making it to phase 2 gets ya lots of market value...much more than a normal bio stock. i believe they are close to phase 2 with one vaccine...but all this rambling is meaningless. the real issue right now with idbe is this cpt. this bio with several vaccines in phase one, has 3 licensees for a test procedure that is used in genomics (do ya like that buzzword?). the company actually made a profit last quarter. i have reason to believe more license agreements are close...we could have a little 160 million vaccine bio with vaccines in phase 1, real earnings and an important genomic research patent. that animal does not exist anywhere else. whoops, almost forgot voip....my present thinking is that the time to get a voip basket is about 90-180 days before msft rolls it out in the next version of office. uw
