Dropped by Pay Less Drugs in San Mateo today and noticed the Cholestrak kits were located on a shelf behind the pharmacy counter. The sales lady said they were there because of shop-lifting problems (who would expect that a large percentage of middle-aged people concerned about their cholesterol would be shoplifters..).

Anyway, the sales lady said that, dispite their location, the Cholestrak kits were moving pretty well. When I asked about the Confide kits sitting right next to the Cholestrak kits, she said that she only sold three this last month. She even remembered the last person who bought one: an Australian woman who checked herself for HIV every month because "she traveled a lot."
