Companies with Increasing Price and Volume
Chris,
I liked your suggestion; I can see how such a screen would
be very useful to a short-term trader. I had a difficult
time matching your suggestions to the available variables,
but I did come up with this screen:
First I selected companies whose average price has been
consistently increasing for the past 200 days. This
resulting in 600 companies being selected.
I then added criteria to only select companies whose volume
has been increasing. This reduced the list to 290
companies.
Now it gets tricky. I selected companies whose price
change yesterday was greater than the change in average
10-day price and average 20-day price. This resulted in
the following screen.
