Oh, give me a break, right. Why not cut taxes to zero and we can all live happily ever after? The question is not whether you or I get more money in our pockets, but whether we continue to live in a society that enables us to put more money in our pockets. Ironically, as proven during the Reagan years, lower tax percentages can provide a clear road to insolvency, a monster national debt, and a slowing economy. Ironically, as proven during the Clinton years, a "huge" tax increase on those who benefit most from society led to a collapse of the economy, cats and dogs sleeping together, and a monster budget deficit. Not.
