The big red flags so far.

1. No one (as far as I can tell) knows what SWOMI is. Is it (as many suspect) just OEM'd OTC Telcom gear. If so, there is nothing there. the OTC gear is basic 802.11b stuff. It won't do what the people from BIFS says it will do.

2. Some claim they have some "new and amazing" technology.
I don't think so. First, wireless is not new. There are big bucks and some very heavy hitters working on wireless problems. (just take a look at the members list of the last IEEE 802.311 committe meeting). At this stage, wireless is an engineering problem, it is not anything that is really revolutionary.

3. I don't want to knock Myrtle Beach. It is a nice resort town in SC. However, it is not the bastion for engineers and scientist. We are not talking Silicon Valley or Research Triangle here. I find it hard to believe they came up with the technology they claim.

4. How do they plan to manufacture this stuff? (if it is not oem'd). I mean, setting up a production line for electronic equipment takes a lot of money. It is not that easy, and cost big bucks.

5. The patent. Anytime anyone ever says that they have a patent, but it is being kept secret, it is almost always (I would say 99.99 percent of the time) a lie.

6. The Biffoons on RB claim that other engineers have seen it, and they just don't understand how it is done. Hogwash.

7. Sewage treatment to Wireless ISP...I don't think so.

8. The hypsters that have appeared on the RB board touting BIFS, are some of the same ones who have touted other BB losers. Jpack for example. He hyped and hyped HIVC. HIVC looks claims it had an AIDS vacine, research has shown that this is highly unlikely.

9. The cast of characters running this thing - I don't need to say more.

10. The PR that has gone out. I mean the CEO is blaming evil MM's.

11. Market cap way out of line.

There are more, but that will do for now.
