Tracy Chapman "CROSSROADS" SILVERED GLASS I've seen those eyes, anxious and wired bouncing off walls alert to a terror never to come I've seen those eyes, bulging in anger firing bullets of hate life meaning nothing unless it is theirs I've seen those eyes, mercilessly begging swimming in red powerless to define passionate regrets I've seen those eyes, dilated, hollow, and vacant gone to some other place waiting to die forever lost I've seen those eyes, cheating and lying suffering and hiding and I've lived in them while passing by mirrors.
