Robert, excellent and well stated points. I am in absolute and total agreement with just about everything in your post. However, all of the examples focus on one area of law; litigation. Torts/aka litigation is the area of law most people equate with "attorney". It is an area of practice that can cross the line. I, however, have never planned to go into litigation of any kind. In fact, I am in law school to augment other skills that I plan to utilize outside of the realm of practicing law, although I may practice for a short period to gain experience. The important point is the danger of generalizations. I am sure that we are all capable of separating the wheat from the chaff. That is all that I ask. I am off my soapbox. Best wishes to all. Go Intel.
