MY, Looks like September is really the month of Rocktober on wall street with Sheryl Crow, Stevie Nicks and the Doobie Brothers playing the BancAmerica Conference the week of the 18th. If that is not enough, David Spade raps things up the last night. Although the Montgomery name is fading, the most over-the-top party since Milken's Predators Ball must go on. There might not be a dry eye in the crowd when John Chalsty gives his welcoming speech at the DLJ conference in mid-September either. I am sure we will hear how the CSFB deal is in the best interests of DLJ's clients and now they will be able to make us even more money. Of course, the real winners will be the headhunters who are probably salivating over the prospects of hefty paypays.
