Ali (BB, -:), or MAB, whoever you are, or perhaps the whole AMD or Cyrix propoganda department),

<I agree, it will not be easy, but there are lawyers for this case to handle.> Yes, by the time it is settled in court eons later (if ever), Intel would have raked in trillions of dollars of profit more, and whatever the outcome, the gain/loss would be down in the noise level. Who cares? I know you do because you are very personal about Intel's success. Thank you very much for that!

<I can tell you that the K6 systems are selling very well. Of course,> I actually do not expect a realistic answer out of you because I have done my homework --- the mom-and-pop computer stores are not selling K6 because they have received none. This indicates to me that AMD is having a lot of problems producing K6 months after its super hyped-up introduction. Remember, the K6 was rumored to be much, much more powerful than the Ppro --- what a disappointment! A few years ago, similar situation is experienced with the K5. Does it look like that AMD is making the same mistake twice? Once could be written off as "learning/experience", but twice is a "stupidity" in my book! I have no doubt that K6's manufacturing problems could be solved eventually, but its introduction has alerted Intel to speed up the introduction of P-II which has demonstrated to be a much more superior CPU, thank you very much. And on the manufacturing front, Intel's migration of 0.35um to 0.25um processes have been sped up as well. The folks over at the AMD thread have been calling us the INTELeBees for a long time, and you AMDiMites also suggested that a smaller company like AMD can migrate to 0.25um a lot faster than a bigger company like Intel. Get real, please. You have to master 0.35um first before jumping into 0.25um; you have to learn to walk first before you can run; you have to learn to read first before you can write! Gee, how much more common sense could I elaborate here? I actually do not have anything against AMD. AMD has NexGen which has already demonstrated its technical capability (it is a wonder that the team can engineer K6 which is more than a P/MMX's equal I admit), but its propaganda department is jumping the gun too soon before it verifies that it has enough ammunition to challenge Intel, which AMD does not. That is when AMD's propaganda department started to spread optimisitic rumors until K6's manufacturing can be rampped up eventually (which I have no doubt, just like K5, but when?). Granted it is very cleverly executed propaganda but a little investigation can easily challenge it again for the n'th time!

If you represent the Cyrix propaganda department, I have a gripe to make. Since I replaced with my Intel 486/66 with a Cyrix 586/120, my floppy disk does not allow me to boot up again, and any zip/unzip actions to/from the floppy introduce errors! This problem, of course, goes away if I replace my old Intel 486/66 back or disable the INTERNAL CACHE of 586 through my Award BIOS! I called Cyrix, and these guys basically told me to f* off! It pissed me off to no end, of course as a consumer! Cyrix sucks in my book! At least Intel has nothing to hide by publishing erratas in which you AMDiMites seem to dwell on and hype up to no end! As a consumer, I have learned my lesson which you have guessed it --- it is "Intel inside". Please peruse these two very powerful words very, very carefully, and you will eventually see the $ signs translated by these two very simple words as investment.

If you represnet the AMD propaganda department, you must be scared stiff with Intel's competition!

<It was my mistake, sorry about that. However, I did not notice you encouraging that investor to invest in Intel as well.> And I do accept your apology sincerely, thank you for that!

<This is personal.> Who are representing anyway? AMD propaganda or Cyrix propaganda department?

ps. After "Intel inside", I wish I could add those melodious notes of music here. Make it so (thanks yousef, great quote)!
