FWIW, I set a year-end target a few months ago, and stood firm on that target following the "Ray Lane affair." But by target, I mean achieving, not merely approaching, that level and then some (i.e. 100-105 range). Based upon this belief I wrote a fair number of Jan '01 110 calls at a premium of $7 the day before the Ray Lane announcement at premium. We'll she how she does.
BTW, being August 30, and the 3-day weekend approaching, I think it proper at this time to drag our friend Marq back to the table. See Message 13988245
Whadda think? I hope the poor guy covered at $72, just like we discussed a number of weeks ago. That would have been a smart move. If he held, well, you win some, you lose some, but some people are just doomed to repeat their mistakes again & again, which unfortunately can lead to drastic results in the investment game.
