JB arrived in Seattle with his business plan. He was introduced to Tom Alberg former vice-chairman of At&t wireless who had just formed Madrona Investments (now Seattle's largest vc). Tom was impressed enough to invest $200,000 but because of the large capital requirement he decided to refer JB to Kleiner Perkins. Since then Tom has sold over $200 million worth of Amzn stock and I'M JEALOUS:-(((((((((((((
